The Tennessee Titans have traded star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles. Tennessee received the 18th overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL draft and a third-round pick at No. 101.
Brown wanted a new contract and he got it.
The Philadelphia Eagles are signing WR A.J. Brown to a four-year, $100 million extension with $57 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport.
Brown, who had demanded a new contract from Tennessee, has 3,000 yards receiving with 24 touchdowns over three seasons. He started 13 games in 2021 due to injury but posted 869 yards and five touchdowns in those contests.
This trade comes after Titans GM Jon Robinson said earlier this month that he did “not foresee” Tennessee trading Brown, who was seeking a new contract.
