The Philadelphia Eagles have released a massive injury update on quarterback Jalen Hurts following Sunday’s worrying development.
Hurts suffered a dislocated middle finger on his throwing hand during Philly’s loss to the New York Giants but, thankfully, he has avoided a major injury. According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, the QB underwent an X-ray on Monday morning that showed no indication of a fracture.
He’s being listed as day-to-day ahead of next week’s Wild Card showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Meanwhile, wide receiver A.J.Brown has also avoided a serious problem after exiting yesterday’s game with a knee injury.
Hurts and Brown will continue to be monitored. The likes of DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift, and Fletcher Cox will likely also have Eagles fans sweating all week.
