Darius Slay’s time with the Eagles is over.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the Philadelphia Eagles were planning on releasing him after both sides could not come to an agreement on a restructured deal.
The veteran cornerback had been looking for a new contract after an excellent 2022 season. He will now have to find that contract in free agency.
Last season, the 32-year-old appeared in all 17 games for the Eagles and recorded 55 tackles, three interceptions and 14 pass defenses.
