The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs’ uniforms for Super Bowl 59 have been unveiled ahead of next month’s highly-anticipated matchup.
The teams are set for a rematch of Super Bowl 57, in which the Chiefs came out on top after featuring in one of the best season finales in recent memory. They are chasing a three-peat this time around.
The AFC team revealed their jerseys for the big game this Tuesday, announcing that they will play in their white away threads.

While the Chiefs made the announcement, the Eagles are responsible for the decision as they chose to play in their midnight green jerseys, given that they’re the designated home team for the game. Home teams are rotated between the NFC and AFC every season.

Philly beat the New England Patriots with their green uniforms in 2017; KC beat the San Francisco 49ers while wearing red last year.
Since Patrick Mahomes was drafted, the Chiefs have gone 2-1 wearing red and 1-0 wearing white in the big game. The Eagles, meanwhile, are 1-2 in green, with the Patriots beating them in 2004 while Andy Reid was still their head coach.
While uniforms hardly get to determine who wins games, superstitious fans will likely tip the Chiefs to win this one strictly based on what they will wear on February 9.
