On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will be on the road taking on the Washington Football Team, and like all stadiums across the league, it will have zero fans in attendance due to the coronavirus pandemic.
If you’re an Eagles fan who still wants to be around some rabid fans while taking in the game, you can do so by purchasing tickets from Eagles fan Rocco Gallelli who is organizing a massive tailgate in Monroe Township, New Jersey, about 20 miles from Lincoln Financial Field. $40 will get you a basic 10’x20′ tailgating spot, unless you want to upgrade to the front row for an extra $20.
Gallelli promises he’ll have a 40-foot screen, DJ playing the hits in the morning and plenty of socially distanced space to throw your own tailgate.
“Don’t want cook but still want to come? Innovative Catering Concepts will offer private tailgate packages with VIP seating. Concessions avail!,” he wrote back in August.
Gallelli says the place will have sanitizer stations and masks available to adhere to COVID health rules.
