ESPN’s Manningcast returned for the Monday Night Football game between Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints. And it did so in a big way, with former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch joining the broadcast in the first quarter.
Lynch stated he had three shots of Hennessey before joining the program, and it showed with his language.
Lynch dropped the F-bomb and several S-bombs as the ESPN2 broadcast went into a commercial break right away to take Lynch off the show.
The Saints were trailing the Seahawks, with the ball in Geno Smith and the Seattle offense’s possession. After a bad play by the Seahawks, Beast Mode accidentally slipped up and said, “Bro, what the f*ck?” on national television.
Peyton Manning later apologized for the inappropriate “slip” by Lynch.

“I wanna thank Marshawn Lynch, not as wild about the language. I want to apologize to our viewers for some of the language. It’s not what we’re trying to do on this show,” Manning said. “I had to remind Eli this show is live. So Eli’s learned his lesson, Marshawn. I probably should have handled him. Anyways, we apologize for that.”
It’s not the first time they’ve had to come back from break and issue an apology, which Peyton noted. Earlier in the season, Eli got himself in some trouble for throwing up the double birds during the live broadcast.
