Peyton Manning wasted very little time taking shots at an NFL team during the very first Manningcast of 2022.
Early on, Eli manning predicted the Seahawks to run the ball a ton, but Geno Smith went 4-of-4 for 71 yards and a passing touchdown in the opening drive. That prompted Peyton Manning to joke that he wants Seattle to throw 70 times.
He threw shade at the New York Jets.
“The Jets threw it 59 times, and that worked out well for them yesterday,” Peyton said sarcastically. “They looked good.”
On Sunday, Joe Flacco completed 37 of 59 passes for 307 yards, a touchdown, and a pick in Sunday’s 24-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
That is an insane amount of passing attempts to barely be above 300 yards passing for the game.
