The rivalry that is Tom Brady and Peyton Manning also extends to off the field.
Part of Peyton Manning’s strategy heading into “The Match” was to talk massive amounts of trash to get Tom Brady off his game.
During a brief interview with Amanda Balionis of CBS Sports, Manning joked that he should have asked Bill Belichick, Eli Manning, or Nick Foles to be his caddie for him during the match to get inside Brady’s head.
Brady snapped his head around and said that was a “cheap shot” from Peyton.
As expected, Brady didn’t just sit there and take it as he called Manning a “dome quarterback” during his NFL career.
