Peyton Manning has reportedly gotten an NFL quarterback to agree to star in his Netflix docuseries, ‘Quarterback,” having fielded multiple rejections during the summer.
The show, which launched earlier this year, got off to a rousing success as it immediately became one of the most-watched series on the streaming platform and was approved for a second season shortly after.
Still, Manning has had a difficult time getting three QBs to follow in the footsteps of Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota as several of them are reported to have rebuffed his approach because they reckon the cameras will be a distraction.
The fact that Mahomes won a Super Bowl doesn’t seem to be convincing enough, yet it’s now understood that a signal-caller has agreed to feature.
Jake Ellenbogen of SB Nation’s Turf Show Times is reporting that Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford will be involved in Season 2.

Stafford is a former Comeback Player of the Year who fired the Rams to a Super Bowl win at the end of the 2021 season, so he should make for great entertainment. It will be interesting to see whether his decision helps the show land other QBs, with Peyton running out of time to secure a trio.
