The ManningCast is a fun football show hosted by former NFL Quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning, but a third host is reportedly on the way.
In a post on twitter, Peyton Manning sits in a chair reading a folder titled “Third Host Auditions: Confidential” as he teases a new cast member. The ManningCast, which premiered in 2021 on ESPN, covers Monday Night Football with the two brothers, and now reportedly a third member to be revealed soon.
The NFL season premieres this Thursday, but their first Monday night game is on September 11th, and the idea of a new host could rack up viewer numbers for the already popular show.
As for who it could be, there are many different avenues. Most would expect a fellow Quarterback like Tom Brady or Drew Brees, but it could be someone like Troy Aikman, another Quarterback legend. Another option is the newly signed Shannon Sharpe, who is brand new to the network but could compliment both Mannings.
There are several directions a 3rd host could go, but the ManningCast will definitely benefit from short-term speculation.
