For the majority of the 21st century, it’s been nearly impossible to repeat as Super Bowl champions, but a team like the Kansas City Chiefs seems a squad that is destined to make it happen for the first time since the Patriots did it by winning Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX over the Panthers and Eagles.
For a guy like Peyton Manning, he definitely does not want to see that happen. In fact, he would be happy if the Chiefs were completely gone.
The AFC West is log jammed at the top as the Chiefs are clearly the best team in the division, followed by an up-and-comer in the Los Angeles Chargers who have Justin Herbert behind center.
The Denver Broncos thought they had a squad after trading for Russell Wilson last offseason, but he got paid and then poured in the worst year of his career.
For Manning, he would love it if the Chiefs would Chiefs to voluntarily leave the AFC West to help out his precious Broncos.
“I like my Broncos. I wish the Chiefs would get out of the division, Stephen A,” Manning told ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith during the NBA Finals. “Unfortunately, they’re not going anywhere. So, we’ve still got some work to do.”

The only way Manning’s dream would come true is if the NFL expands and then realigns the divisions. Even if that were to happen, the league would not break up budding rivalries that fans love to engage in every single year.
The Broncos are stuck with the Chiefs forever.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was named the winner of the AP’s NFL MVP award after he passed for 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns. He shows no signs of slowing down, so the Denver Broncos may have to wait a while before seeing themselves at the top of the AFC West.
