The Seattle Seahawks are having their roughest season in a very long time as they currently sit 3-8 and in last place in the NFC West ahead of hosting the third place San Francisco 49ers at Lumen Field on Sunday.
Losing is never fun, because then it brings widespread speculation of a massive turnaround to come to make sure nothing like this happens again.
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, acting owner Jody Allen is not only not pleased with the performance of the franchise, and she does not necessarily believe this is a one year issue following years of success.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who is 70-years-old, is under contract through 2025 and i still one of the best head coaches in the league. This terrible season makes you wonder if he has lost the locker room. He has shown no indication that he wants out, even with the amount of head coaching openings that have happened in college football.
The Seahawks are coming off a season where they were 12-4 and has had nine consecutive winning seasons.

Making matters worse is the Seahawks don’t have a first-round pick next year because they traded away what may be a Top 5 pick in the 2022 NFL draft as part of the Jamal Adams deal.
Trade rumors swirled over the franchise during the offseason regarding Russell Wilson, which will only get stronger as this season gets worse. We may very well be witnessing the end of an era.
