Las Vegas is a city that has seen it all….until now.
The Sphere at the Venetian Resort, previously known as the MSG Sphere, opened to the public with a series of concerts in September. Built at a cost of around $2.3 billion, the Sphere boasts an 18,600-seat auditorium with a wraparound interior LED screen.
It took less than six months for a person to try and climb it.
Las Vegas Metropolitan police had been investigating reports of a man who climbed to the top of the Sphere Wednesday morning.
The man could be seen on the top of the Las Vegas entertainment structure in one of the scariest things the town has ever seen.

The guy was later arrested and identified as Maison Des Champs, who calls himself the “Pro-life Spider-Man.”
DesChamps is known for similar stunts in other cities — including in Las Vegas. A few years ago, he climbed the outside of the Aria hotel-casino to protest Nevada’s COVID-19 health orders.
In 2022, he was arrested for scaling the 51-story Salesforce tower in downtown San Francisco.
This incident comes just days before the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers go to battle at Allegiant Stadium at the Super Bowl.
