Former NFL star wide receiver Percy Harvin used to smoke marijuana before games, the 35-year-old revealed in a recent interview.
Harvin played in the NFL from 2009 to 2016, having his most productive years with the Minnesota Vikings. The former Florida wideout won a Super Bowl 48 ring with the Seattle Seahawks in the 2013 season, even scoring an 87-yard kick return TD in the big game.
During an interview with Bleacher Report (h/t Kameron Duncan of The Spun), Harvin revealed that he was high in every single one of his NFL games.
“There’s not a game I played in that I wasn’t high,” Harvin said. “That’s what I want the world to kind of see today. It’s not a stigma, and people doing it and getting in a whole bunch of trouble. It’s people that’s just living regular life that’s got deficiencies or just may want to enjoy themselves”
Harvin won Offensive Rookie of the Year honors in 2009, racking up 60 catches for 790 yards and six touchdowns. He surpassed 800 yards receiving in each of the next two years, including a career-high 967 yards in 2011.
