Over the weekend, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took to Instagram and announced he was hanging up his cleats for good and retiring at the age of 29.
The former 2nd-round pick of the Patriots in 2010 caught 521 passes for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns during his career. He will truly be missed.
Patriots fans have been extremely emotional about Gronk actually being gone for good. The franchise feels the same way, which is why they released a heartfelt farewell montage of the soon-to-be hall of famer on Wednesday.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
