Of all the potential destinations that we’ve heard for Tom Brady, there has been one that has popped up this week that is easily the most interesting and gaining steam.
During an appearance Tuesday on Sirius XM’s “Mad Dog Sports Radio,” Tom E. Curran of NBC Sports Boston truly believed that the San Francisco 49ers are a legit desination for Brady.
“To me, it’s either going to be New England or Tennessee, with the 49ers closing hard on the outside,” Curran said. “I think (there’s interest) from both (Brady and the Niners). I think there’s an appeal.”
Curran, who is as plugged into the Patriots as any reporter out there, believes chatter that free agent Tom Brady could end up in San Francisco is “real.”
Brady is on tap to become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career, unless the Patriots sign him before the March 18th deadline.
Brady is a noted 49ers fan that grew up in the Bay area, not to mention, the team is coming off a Super Bowl appearance and has everything in place for Brady to show up and win right now.
