The New England Patriots are trying to stop all the rumors and bring their coveted QB back home for yet another year.
The team is willing to pay the impending free-agent quarterback in excess of $30 million per year to keep him, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Brady is not allowed to sign a new deal with New England until free agency begins next month, but Rapoport notes that Brady would like the team to spend money on weapons as well. The offense struggled many times last season and it came back to bite them in the Wild Card round against the Tennessee Titans.
Teams like the Chargers, Raiders, Colts, and Dolphins have also been rumored destinations for the future hall of famer.
