New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft took the opportunity to call out Russian President Vladimir Putin during “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Sunday night.
Robert Kraft was among several notable celebrities who attended the Brady roasting special on Netflix. Kevin Hart hosted the event, which included speeches from Kim Kardashian, Bill Belichick, Jeff Ross, Rob Gronkowski, and Julian Edelman.
While he was speaking on stage, Kraft called out Putin and demanded that the Russian President return the Super Bowl ring that he stole from the Patriots owner almost two decades ago (WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS LANGUAGE THAT IS NSFW):
“In case, Vladimir Putin you’re watching, give me my (expletive) ring back, will ya?”
For those who are unfamiliar, Kraft met with Putin back in the summer of 2005. The Patriots owner, celebrating his third Super Bowl as New England’s owner, was asked to show his Super Bowl ring to Putin.

Visibly impressed with the ring’s beauty, Putin put it in his pocket and never returned it to the Patriots owner. Kraft was then told by President George Bush’s administration to state that he gifted the championship ring to Putin, since relations between the two countries were already tense.
Robert Kraft Is Doing Just Fine With 5 Rings
It’s obviously unfortunate that Kraft lost that luxurious Super Bowl ring that he worked tirelessly for. While Super Bowl rings can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, they’re quite literally priceless for the players, coaches, owners and staffers who actually worked for one.
But Robert Kraft can still fit his other five Super Bowl championship rings on one hand, so it could be a lot worse. Along with former San Francisco 49ers owner Edward J. DeBartolo Jr., Kraft is only one of five owners to have won at least five Super Bowls (Kraft has six).
And if Kraft desperately wants a replacement ring for the one Putin stole from him, the billionaire has more than enough money for it.
