The New England Patriots lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 23-16 on Sunday, which was the Pats’ first loss at home in 21 games.
The home win streak in the regular season and playoffs was tied for the longest in team history. It’s safe to say that Patriots fans had become accustomed to their team winning at home anytime they showed up.
Well, when that looked to be ending on Sunday, a few Patriots fans took their frustrations out on other Pats fans and violence ensued in the stands.
Sunday’s loss marked the Patriots second consecutive defeat and their 3rd in five games since the squad started out 8-0.
Patrick Mahomes was 26 of 40 for 283 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
