Bill Belichick retiring from the National Football League has been a topic of discussion before, but would he stick around the league once he is gone?
According to Premier Lacrosse League founder Paul Rabil, the New England Patriots head coach would be open to coaching again, but it would be in a different sport.
Reports say Belichick would be open to coaching a professional lacrosse team when he’s retired from the NFL.
Rabil appeared on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast to discuss Belichick’s interest.
The 2022 season will be Belichick’s 23rd in New England, where he’s accrued a 290-143 record in the regular season to go with a 30-12 record in the playoffs. He’s 31-13 overall as a head coach in the playoffs.

While Belichick is now entering his eighth decade, he isn’t showing any desire to step away.
