J.K. Dobbins suffered an injury during the Ravens’ season-opener against the Houston Texans, and while he was initially listed as questionable to return, it appears his 2023 NFL season could be over.
Dobbins suffered a torn Achilles and now his season is finished.
Dobbins was helped to the locker room by members of the Ravens’ training staff with 9:55 left in the third quarter. He left the game after a five-yard run.
After the game, linebacker Patrick Queen was speaking to reporters about Dobbins when he became extremely emotional about his teammate.

For the game, Queen had eight total tackles to help his team win 25-9 as they kept the Houston Texans out of the end zone all game long.
Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens opened their 2023 season with a 25-9 victory Sunday over the Houston Texans, but it wasn’t a great debut for Todd Monken’s new offense.
Jackson finished 17-of-22 for 169 yards through the air and one interception. He also logged six carries for 38 yards.
Dobbins, who scored the game’s first touchdown on a 4-yard run in the first quarter, totaled eight carries for 22 yards and two catches for 15 yards.
