The Arizona Cardinals have been a very bad football team ever since the team lost their first game after going 7-0 during the 2021 season. That particular team has not been able to recapture their mojo and it continued into the playoffs and the offseason.
Now during this season, the team is 4-8 and sitting in third place in the NFC West.
Now, quarterback Kyler Murray, who is having a down year after signing a new deal, is being blasted by a former teammate. While on his “All Things Covered” podcast with former NFL corner Bryant McFadden, eight-time Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson made a damning admission about the Cardinals QB.
“Kyler Murray don’t care about nobody but Kyler Murray.”
Both Peterson and former NFL defensive back Bryant McFadden agreed that they feel head coach Kliff Kingsbury will be the scapegoat for Arizona’s struggles amid a 4-8 start to the season.
“They requiring you to study four hours, but the system’s messed up?” Peterson said.

This discussion was in response to Murray’s recent comments after a 4th-and-1 interception in the second quarter. He said that “schematically” the team was “kinda f–ked” on the play.
Peterson’s comments that Murray only cares about himself seem to suggest he never had a high opinion of him while the two were teammates in the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
Peterson spent the first ten years of his career with Arizona before signing with Minnesota in 2021. The future hall-of-famer is having a tremendous season, racking up 42 tackles, and three interceptions.
