The Kansas City Chiefs are getting ready to defend their Super Bowl title in 2023. The Super Bowl celebrations are over as several players have shown themselves on social media training for the upcoming season.
Patrick Mahomes is one of those players.
Mahomes, who is fresh off his second Super Bowl title, was seen working out with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance and UCLA quarterback Dante Moore in Los Angeles.
Moore took to Instagram and posted the selfie.
While all Chiefs players are currently training for the upcoming season, many most likely will not show their regimen on social media. That doesn’t mean the work is not being done.
The three quarterbacks are in different situations in their careers.

Moore committed to UCLA back in December and is the program’s top recruit in its 2023 recruiting class. Trey Lance is getting set to play his first season as the 49ers starting QB after his 2022 season was cut short due to injury. Mahomes, of course, is fresh off winning his second Super Bowl ring.
Despite the roster changes, Mahomes led the league in passing yards with 5,250 passing yards and 358 rushing yards, giving him a league-record 5,608 pass + rush yards. Mahomes also finished in the top five for passing yards in a season as he was the third player to throw for 5,000 yards in multiple seasons and the second player to throw for 5,000 yards and rush for 300 yards in a season.
He is expected to be even better during the 2023 season.
