NFL fans are going off on social media after a photo surfaced online that shows Patrick Mahomes appearing as if he put on a few pounds in the wake of his Super Bowl victory earlier this year.
The quarterback won the second championship of his career in February, having gone up against Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57. So he might be taking things very easy before he has to get back to work when the Kansas City Chiefs order him in for training camp.
Mahomes showed up in a photo posted by UCLA QB Dante Moore, who took to Instagram to share a snap of himself standing between the Chiefs star and Trey Lance.
Both Mahomes and Lance have been getting roasted online as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s hairline has him looking a lot older, while fans are pointing out that Mahomes has gained some weight.

To be fair to Mahomes, he wasn’t exactly slim and trim in 2022, plus he suffered some troubling injury setbacks in the playoffs. He could be forgiven for taking a load off after helping bring KC another ring.
If the signal-caller has indeed gained weight, we’re pretty sure he will get back to where he wants to be ahead of the 2023/24 campaign as he’s known to have a crazy work ethic. Not sure what Lance can do about that hairline, though.
