Earlier today, it was reported by former NFL player-turned-analyst Rich Ohrnberger that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes asked his fiancee and brother, Brittany Matthews and Jackson Mahomes, to stop attending his football games for the time being.
According to Rich, Mahomes felt the duo was becoming a distraction and hurting his brand.
Well, it didn’t take long for Patrick Mahomes to hop on Twitter and throw a giant bucket of water on the report.
One has to think that this would be Mahomes’ response, whether the report is in fact true or not. After all, would you really want the whole world knowing that you had to sit your soon-to-be-wife and brother down and tell them to stop coming to your games?
In reality, we likely won’t know whether this so-called meeting took place or not until the start of the season. If we don’t see Brittany or Jackson at any games during the 2022 season, you’ll know something’s up — because there’s no way those two are staying out of the spotlight if it’s up to them.
