Kansas City Chiefs fans must have been really worried after seeing Patrick Mahomes go out with an injury during the second quarter of their divisional-round matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.
The QB sustained an ankle injury many feared would rule him out of the remainder of the game. Chad Henne came on as a replacement and the transition was seamless as he slotted in to lead a 98-yard touchdown drive consisting of 12 plays.
Henne had involvement in just 18 plays prior to Saturday’s game but was ready when his name was called.

The starting/system QB was able to return to the game for the second half.
