Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a huge victory over the New England Patriots, but everything didn’t go according to plan as Mahomes found himself needing X-rays after the game.
Andy Reid confirmed that Mahomes injured his throwing hand early during Sunday’s game.
During Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots, Mahomes went down on his hand in a way that caused obvious discomfort throughout the game. The team elected to keep him in and he was able to finish out the contest.
Mahomes completed 28 of 40 passes on the night for 283 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.
