Kansas City Chiefs fans are waiting on pins and needles to find out Patrick Mahomes‘ status for the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills.
Despite what people think, Mahomes never hit his head and appears to not have a concussion.
Mahomes is said to have “tweaked” a nerve in his neck that made him temporarily “out of it.”
One things for sure, the Chiefs QB will be going through an assortment of tests to make sure he is okay before they even think about letting him back on the field.
Before his injury, Mahomes completed 21-of-30 passes for 255 yards and two total touchdowns (one rushing) in the Chiefs’ 22-17 Divisional Round victory over the Cleveland Browns.
