Patrick Mahomes got himself roasted online recently and will probably be pleased to find out that a certain statement has since been retracted.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is coming off a remarkable 2022 NFL season in which he won his second Super Bowl, as well as his second MVP and second Super Bowl MVP. Given that he’s one of the most liked players in the NFL, things were going well for him… until his younger brother decided to mess that up.
Jackson Mahomes, who has gone from being an annoying TikToker to getting arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery, will soon have his day in court. And it appears Patrick is getting some of the blowback.
Mahomes was just flamed by Arizona news reporter Makayla Perkins, who was seemingly unhappy with the QB’s grand idea to have the Coyotes change their name to the KC Coyotes after a move to Kansas City.
Perkins would take a dig at Mahomes with a reply to his tweet with one of her own that has since been deleted, of course not before someone got a screenshot…

“Maybe you should focus more on keeping your little brother out of jail and less on our NHL team,” Makayla wrote.
Mahomes had not responded at the time of writing. He has also steered clear of addressing the allegations made against his brother publicly. But it might be difficult to keep Jackson from getting convicted given the video footage that shows him forcibly kissing his female accuser.
