Patrick Mahomes is fighting the Madden curse as best he can.
During the team’s matchup against the Denver Broncos last week, the superstar QB tried a quarterback sneak near the goal line, but did not get back on his feet as he winced in pain.
His kneecap was said to be dislocated, but medical personnel snapped it back it in place, so he was able to walk off the field under his own power.
Less than a week later, head coach Andy Reid told reporters that Mahomes would be throwing the ball on Wednesday. He also wouldn’t rule him out from playing on Sunday.
