Patrick Mahomes cannot be happy with the Kansas City Chiefs trading away Tyreek Hill, but he isn’t showing his anger on social media.
After trading Hill, the Chiefs made two major moves on offense, signing free agent wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and running back Ronald Jones.
The Chiefs quarterback responded to those moves on Twitter.
Signing MVS and Jones will help mitigate the loss of the three-time All-Pro, but there is no way either of them will replicate with Hill brought to that Chiefs’ offense.
Valdes-Scantling’s deal is a three-year, $30 million contract with $18 million in the first two seasons. He caught 26 passes for 430 yards and three touchdowns last season.

Last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jones II rushed for 428 yards on 101 carriers with four touchdowns. He finished with only 10 receptions, the lowest total since his rookie season (7).
If anybody can improve on those numbers, it would be Patrick Mahomes.
