A TikTok/Twitter user pulled a fast one on much of the sports world on Friday night.
The guy with a handle of Almost Andy Reid was at Kauffman Stadium watching the Royals play when Kansas City cameras caught him taking selfies in the stands. The broadcasters appeared to think it was Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
Among those sharing the video were the Checkdown, Stadium and Bleacher Report. They had zero clue it wasn’t Reid.
Finally, the Chiefs had seen enough and set the record straight:

Chiefs rookie WR Cornell Powell seemed to be fooled as well.
Taking to Twitter this weekend, Patrick Mahomes retweeted the Royals’ post and added a handful of laughing emojis.
