The world knows Patrick Mahomes a little better now because of Netflix. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback stars in a Netflix docuseries “Quarterback” along with Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins and Atlanta Falcons QB Marcus Mariota.
This year’s division-round showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills was one of the most highly-anticipated games of the NFL Playoffs, and many thought the Bills would come out on top with them being at home in a bad weather game.
Despite that, Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes apparently thought the Bengals were the better team. We never heard him say it in public but he did reveal this privately as those comments recently aired as part of a new Netflix documentary series that followed him through the 2022 season.
“I think the Bengals are better, but I think with all those injuries on the o-line that the Bills have a chance,” Mahomes said.
He also admitted that’s who he wanted to play in the AFC title game.
“I mean, I think we match up better versus the Bills, but I want to play the Bengals. I mean, I just want to play them, we haven’t beaten them, and I’m tired of their talking,” Mahomes said.

The Bengals proved they were the better team and beat the Bills, and the Chiefs beat the Bengals in a hard-fought game in Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs exercised their demons from a year ago after they squandered away a second-half lead and the Bengals advanced to the Super Bowl, where they would go on to lose to the Rams.
With his comments coming to light, the Bills and the Bengals will have even more of a reason to go out and try to defeat this team.
