Patrick Mahomes’s mother, Randi Martin, has made a major announcement pertaining to her family and is receiving words of support she hopes will translate into some funding.
Mahomes had a great start to 2023, winning his second Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. And it appears his mom is looking to record some feats of her own off the field, having announced a scholarship fund to honor her late mother, Debbie Martin, over the weekend.
“Starting a scholarship fund to honor my momma… every dollar will be given to a student in my moms name,” she wrote in a tweet linking to a GoFundMe page.

Randi, a mother of three, recently announced the passing of her mother Debbie. The family is in mourning and the NFL world has shown Patrick lots of support in the wake of his losing a very close loved one. His mother has come up with a brilliant idea to honor her mom and, possibly find a way to cope with the devastating loss.
Meanwhile, Patrick has revealed this week that his ankle is not completely healed just yet, following the worrying injury he sustained in the playoffs.
“I think now it’s been more about just kind of managing it, but getting the mobility back as best as I possibly can,” the QB told reporters over a call on Monday (H/T Yahoo Sports). “I wouldn’t say I’m 100 percent, but I’ve had no necessarily limitations.
