Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes had a highlight-reel incomplete pass during the first quarter of Saturday’s tilt with the Arizona Cardinals. Nothing he does should surprise anybody to this point, though he continues to impress nearly every time he’s on a football field.
Mahomes did so again during the first quarter of his preseason battle against the Arizona Cardinals as he evaded pressure from five defenders while being forced to the sideline before jumping and nearly squeezing an insane pass that was just behind Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who saw the pass hit off of his hands.

Mahomes is no stranger to State Farm Stadium as he tossed for 360 yards for five touchdowns and no interceptions during Kansas City’s 44-21 victory on the Cardinals in Week 1 of last season.
Not to mention, they won the Super Bowl right here in Glendale over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his second AP NFL MVP award after being named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2022 season at the NFL Honors award show.
In 2022, Mahomes threw 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns, both leading the league. With the addition of his 358 rushing yards and six receiving yards, Mahomes totaled 5,614 all-purpose yards on the year, a new NFL single-season record.
