The Kansas City Chiefs are set to open their 2022 training camp and much like most places around the country, it is going to be a scorcher.
On Friday, Chiefs tackle Mitchell Schwartz posted a screencap of the upcoming weather forecast in Kansas City that show temperatures will range between 98 and 105 degrees throughout the week.
Taking to Twitter, Mahomes retweeted Schwartz’s post with the caption “Going to be a fun week to start camp” and a laughing emoji.
The 26-year-old, $500 million quarterback might not be a fan of the heat, but we’ve seen him perform under intense pressure, so he will be just fine.
The Chiefs quarterback recently teamed up with Coors Light for a commercial, but since Mahomes couldn’t actually talk about Coors Light in the ad, they skirted the NFL’s beer rule by making a commercial for a FLASHLIGHT.
