Just like every other game, Brittany Matthews was front and center to watch her boyfriend take on the Denver Broncos.
She had no clue what would happen in the first half.
On Thursday night, Kansas City Chiefs saw their worst fears realized when star quarterback Patrick Mahomes went down with a knee injury and medical personnel would soon be seen popping his dislocated kneecap back in place on the field. It allowed him to get back on his feet and walk off the field under his own power.
Initial testing revealed Mahomes did not suffer any broken bones in the leg, but he is set to undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the damage.
Soon after, his supportive girlfriend would take to social media and speak out after watching the love of her life get injured.
