Brittany Matthews saw an important message on Twitter and made sure she sent it out to the over 501,000 people who follow her on Instagram.
Taking to her Instagram story on fourth of July, the girlfriend of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes re-posted a tweet from Twitter that called out people who think that kneeling is disrespectful to our country.
The post goes on to state how much more disrespectful it is for a soldier to be sexually assaulted, go missing on base, and refuse to conduct an investigation afterwards. The post was referring to the tragic death of Vanessa Guillen at Fort Hood.
Such a tragic story.
