Patrick Mahomes has an intense love for ketchup.
When he was just a youngster, he’d often eat ketchup sandwiches. Nothing else on it, but two slices of bread with ketchup in between. No joke.
The 2018 NFL MVP went viral before because he liked to put ketchup on steaks, but now, he has taken it up a notch during an appearance on KCSP 610 Sports Radio.
Mahomes said he even puts ketchup on Thanksgiving turkey.
“Yeah, dude. I mean, come on. You gotta put ketchup on that — turkey and ham,” Mahomes said. “Come on, you know me better than that.”

His love for ketchup is truly unmatched. It seems to be his super power needed for what he is able to do while on the field.
Near the end of 2018, Mahomes’ love of ketchup got him an endorsement deal with Hunt’s.
“I’ve been a fan of ketchup for as long as I can remember, and the thick, rich flavor of Hunt’s ketchup delivers every time,” Mahomes said at the time of the deal. “I’m thrilled to be joining the Hunt’s team.”
A State Farm commercial that came out in October 2020 features Mahomes at a table with Aaron Rodgers and their State Farm agent. Mahomes could be seen covering his food in ketchup.
