Who has better football players, the state of Georgia or the state of Texas. That was the argument on Twitter when Tampa Bay Bucs WR Mike Evans claimed “Texas High School football is the best and QB the hardest position so I guess Kyler Murray the best HS player ever.”
Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman wasn’t feeling that statement, so he hit back with, “Texas football is not the best.”
That prompted former NFL WR Dez Bryant to chime in.
“Love you brotha but you are crazy… Texas by far has the best football ever.”

Hardman:
“Lol I’ll take an all star team from Georgia and beat an all star team from Texas any day.”
This didn’t sit well with Patrick Mahomes, Hardman’s quarterback in KC. Mahomes, of course, is from the Lone Star State and felt compelled to protect his home.
“You sure bro?” Mahomes asked Hardman before later joking that he was “talking to hear himself talk.”
It is no doubt that both Georgia and Texas is loaded with football talent, but Texas is definitely going to get the edge is this argument.
Adding Florida to this debate makes it a lot more interesting.
