NFL fans have asked for it for a while now, and it appears as though they’re finally going to get it.
According to a recent report by Former NFL player and now NFL Analyst Rich Ohrnberger, Patrick Mahomes had a sit down with his fiancee and brother following the season, during which he asked Brittany Matthews and Jackson Mahomes to stop attending games for now.
Former NFL player-turned-analyst Rich Ohrnberger is the one who broke the news, adding that Mahomes believes Brittany and Jackson have become both a distraction and a problem for his brand. This tweet has sine been deleted as well.
This is not surprising, as more and more people seemed to be turning on Mahomes over the last year or so. Much of it has to do with controversy surrounding his family members, from Jackson dancing on Sean Taylor’s memorial, to Brittany spraying champagne on fans following a Chiefs playoff victory.
This is just one of the many things Mahomes has to deal with this offseason, as there have also been widespread reports of tension between him and offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, which is said to have cost the Chiefs their during their AFC Championship Game against the Bengals.
