Former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee has had an eventful week. It started with New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers falsely suggesting on the program that ABC talk show host Jimmy Kimmel would be named in documents connected to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
It led to him having to apologize.
Just days after he apologized, McAfee himself took aim at a top ESPN executive who he believes is “attempting to sabotage” his show.
On Friday, McAfee called out Norby Williamson, a four-decade veteran of ESPN who is its executive editor and head of event and studio production, alleging that he leaked negative ratings information.
He also referred to him as a “rat” during his show.
Soon after his comments, ESPN decided to announce that McAfee’s show had nearly 300 million views in December across all platforms.

ESPN says the show is up 23% from its first month and the daily audience for the show is around 886,000.
ESPN began distributing the show on Sept. 7 as part of a five-year, $85 million licensing deal with the former NFL punter.
It remains to be seen how Williamson and other members of the Bristol brass will respond to this latest confrontation.
