On Friday, the Pat McAfee show was at Notre Dame’s campus as they prepared for tomorrow’s episode of College Gameday.
Things went off the rails as Pat McAfee got set to go into the crowd during a segment. That is when Boston Connor dropped a brutal shot aimed at Catholics as he made his way through the crowd.
“Be careful. You never know where Catholic hands go.”
Ouch.
As you may be very aware of, there have been many cases of sexual abuse of children by priests, nuns, and other members of religious life in the Catholic Church. Clearly, Connor was alluding to that when he made his joke.

Will he face backlash about it? Unlikely.
Ohio State-Notre Dame is just one of eight matchups featuring two unbeaten teams Saturday as Week 4 also kicks off a busy slate of games this weekend.
It’s just Marcus Freeman’s second season as head coach of Notre Dame, and has them off to an undefeated 4-0 start. Last season, the Fighting Irish were 9-4.
This is just the eighth time since the 1935 season that Ohio State and Notre Dame will square off on the same field as the Buckeyes visit the Fighting Irish in a highly-anticipated battle of top-10 teams.
The Notre Dame game kicks off tomorrow, Saturday, September 23, at 7.30pm ET.
