Pat McAfee discussed what Aaron Rodgers had to say about Jimmy Kimmel on his ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ earlier this week.
Speaking during said show on Tuesday, McAfee suggested Kimmel’s name will be one of the names on the “Epstein list” when it’s released in the coming days.
“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, that are really hoping [the Epstein client list] doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said.
Kimmel took to social media to refer to the Jets quarterback in very unflattering terms while threatening court action.
“Dear A- hole,” he wrote. “For the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
The feud between the two dates back to 2021, when Kimmel roasted Rodgers on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, referring to him as a “Wack Packer” over his anti-vax stance.

Given that Kimmel is employed by ABC, a Disney company, and the comments were made on an ESPN show, there could be some serious implications. As such, McAfee has moved to distance himself from the feud while claiming Rodgers was simply fooling around.
“There can be something that was meant to be a S- talk joke, that can then become something that is a very serious allegation, that then leads to a massive overnight story,” he admitted at the beginning of his show on Wednesday. “I can see exactly why Jimmy Kimmel felt the way he felt, especially with his position. But I think Aaron was just trying to talk S-.”
McAfee also left the door open for Rodgers to clarify his statement. But something tells us he will double down.
ESPN has yet to offer a comment on the matter.
