Pat McAfee isn’t about to back down from his scathing comments about Norby Williamson.
Speaking on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ this past Friday, the former NFL kicker broke the internet by going after ESPN’s head of production, calling him a “rat” and making it clear that he has no love or respect for the man.
ESPN has since issued a statement, disclosing that they will deal with the matter personally.
We can’t lie, we were among the many waiting on what McAfee would say on Monday following the whirlwind weekend. Perhaps not so shockingly, he has stuck to his guns.
McAfee claimed to have no regrets over what he said about Williamson but insisted his relationship with The Worldwide Leader in sports is still strong.
“Now there’s certainly people we do not like, certainly,” he said. “And they do not like us, that’s how it’s gonna be. And I don’t take back anything that I said about said person, but the overall storyline about us and ESPN I think people need to remember – we’re strong, baby.

“We all understand what the future looks like, there’s just some old hags that potentially don’t but we will move forward to that.”
The popular show host also noted that he said what he said on the YouTube version of the show and not on television, so he’s surprised it blew up the way it did. We have to assume he was being sarcastic as there’s no way he believes he reaches more people via television than on the internet.
