Nobody ever really cares about punters until they screw something up very badly.
That wasn’t the case for JK Scott, who was the unsung hero of the Green Bay Packers’ opening night victory on Thursday.
His contributions were not lost on Pat McAfee.
The second-year punter’s 63-yard booming kick with less than two minutes remaining in the game pinned the opposing Chicago Bears inside of their own 14-yard line and helped secure the 10-3 win for Green Bay.
For that reason, former Colts punter Pat McAfee had to give him a shout-out, and he gave it in the most hilarious way possible.
