Pat McAfee came off looking quite bad during an incident where he did not acknowledge a legendary QB.
Pat McAfee issued a public apology to former Saints quarterback Drew Brees. It is all because he unintentionally snubbed Brees while at Radio Row for Super Bowl LVII.
The below video shows Brees trying to get McAfee’s attention by calling his name multiple times, but the former Colts punter kept walking away from him.
“Man… I did NOT see @drewbrees,” McAfee tweeted. “I apologize IMMENSELY.. you’re a legend boss, this is 100% my fault.”
Brees has appeared on The Pat McAfee Show in the past, so it is likely no hard feelings between them.

By now, they have probably spoken with each other and cleared the air.
Back in 2021, Brees retired from the NFL. He entered retirement as the all-time leader with 80,358 passing yards, 7,142 completions, a 67.7% career completion rate, and second with 571 touchdown passes.
