As you may recall, last September, Pat Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, put in a guilty plea for his third DWI charge after he was arrested last February, just days before the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.
He had a blood alcohol level of 0.23.
He spent 10 days in jail in September and is on probation for five years. That was just the start of things for him.
Mahomes Sr. also had one year of “intense supervision.”
Intensive supervision is a sentence that involves increased monitoring and support for offenders. It is used for offenders who are considered to be at high risk of reoffending or pose a threat to public safety.
Pat Mahomes Sr. has had multiple DWIs in his life.
He has been criminally charged with DWI on three occasions, with his two prior charges occurring in 2008 and 2019.

With the Super Bowl in New Orleans, it is not shocking that he will need to be watched to ensure that he does not partake in any festivities on or near Bourbon Street that may cause him to make another terrible decision.

The father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes did himself no favors as the Chiefs prepare for Super Bowl 2025.
After pleading guilty to his third DWI just before last year’s Super Bowl, Mahomes Sr. had fans on social media calling him out after posting a tongue-in-cheek remark regarding the Buffalo Bills.
“Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo,” Mahomes Sr.’s X account posted.
He later claimed that his X account had been hacked.
