Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is looking to make NFL history against the Buffalo Bills, and his father, Pat Mahomes, is making sure that everyone knows he has his back.
Patrick Mahomes’ family played a major role in his development, but his father has had some trouble with alcohol over the course of his life.
Pat Mahomes Sr. is ready for today’s AFC Championship Game as he showed as much as he took to his X account, previously Twitter,
Mahomes Sr. sent a quick message to Chiefs fans, saying, “Feeling this energy today!! #ChiefsKingdom,” Mahomes wrote.
In his message, he posted a photo of himself celebrating with his son after the Chiefs’ AFC title game win in Baltimore one year ago.
Pat Mahomes Sr. has spent the last year dealing with his inner demons that have caused him legal trouble stemming from his DUI arrest one week before Super Bowl LVIII.
He was sentenced to 10 days in jail in October.
