Pat Mahomes is not holding back his disdain for John Rocker.
The former Major League Baseball pitcher, the father of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, got into quite an argument with fellow ex-pitcher John Rocker over the Super Bowl weekend.
Not only did Patrick Mahomes play one of the worst games of his entire career in Super Bowl LIX, but his father also decided to cause some controversy.
It was unclear what exactly was said between the two former Major Leaguers, but it didn’t look friendly between them.
It got so bad that a bystander had to step between the two to separate Pat Mahomes and John Rocker before fists started flying.
Fortunately, it was only verbal jabs that would soon turn into social media jabs.
The argument between the two then spilled over onto the internet with Rocker posting, “This f–king loser can’t take a damn joke.”

Mahomes Sr. responded by saying, “You really haven’t changed one bit in the last 25 years. Keep my name out your loud mouth.”
The father of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback had one word to describe his foe in another post.
“John Rocker is a menace to society.”

Pat Mahomes And John Rocker To Fight At Barstool’s Rough ‘N’ Rowdy
Pat Mahomes and John Rocker will settle their differences in the ring.
While a video of the former MLB players arguing on Bourbon Street in New Orleans went viral, some fans speculated that the altercation and social media fight were a set-up to promote an upcoming fight between the athletes.
On Feb. 12, Dave Portnoy announced that Mahomes Sr. and Rocker had signed contracts to fight at Barstool’s Rough ‘N’ Rowdy brawl.
“I guess they f–king hated each other since their playing days,” Portnoy said in a video posted on X. “I mean, I guess not surprising. Everyone has beef with John Rocker.”
“But they signed the f–king paperwork,” he continued, noting that “This is real bad blood” between them.
